Inspiration

Hi, and welcome to Little Miss P. My name is Marianne and I am mummy to my beautiful daughter, the real-life Little Miss P.

I have studied Fashion for over six years, taking Fashion Design with Marketing at the University of East London, and have worked within the Retail and Buying sector ever since. I have had many amazing jobs, working with stylists, managing a vintage clothing shop and, in the end, I was buying Tableware for a department store chain before I went on maternity leave with my Miss P.

After she came along, I decided to spend more time with my little family. I began by making the sort of clothes that my niece, my friends' kids, and my own little girl would like to wear, along with birthday crowns, sensory blankets and other fun stuff as well. 

Over the years, following requests from customers who have been concerned about the amount of single use plastic items that are available and being used, I created a range of eco friendly items that can be washed and reused rather than being thrown away.

These items have become very popular, and I have encorporated other items like reusable straws and bottles, that compliment the handmade items and help people to live a low waste lifestyle.

I have been extremely fortunate to exhibit my handmade items at some of the most prestigious artisan events in the North West, including events in stunning Liverpool and Wirral landmarks (including Port Sunlight Village, Speke Hall, Sefton Park Palm House and Croxteth Hall), Wirral's Fabulous Frost Fair and Liverpool's Summer Arts Markets.
